Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Our Commitment to Student Privacy
At Essay Jungle, privacy is built into our core architecture. We enforce a zero-identity footprint policy: we do not collect student names, school names, student ID numbers, or institutional emails.
2. Pseudonym-Based Candidate Identification
Every candidate brief is identified solely by an encrypted pseudonym (e.g. QuietFox-482) paired with a unique 64-character secret access key. All communication between candidates and specialist writers occurs through anonymous message boards.
3. Stripe Payment Data Isolation
Payment information is processed directly by Stripe using end-to-end TLS encryption. Credit card numbers, Apple Pay tokens, and Google Pay credentials never touch our servers. Billing statements display generic descriptors to protect candidate discretion.
4. File Storage & Automatic Purging
Completed PDF and DOCX reports are saved with 256-bit hashed filenames. Files can only be downloaded by presenting the matching Secret Access Key and are automatically purged from our servers 30 days after order completion.
5. Contacting the Data Protection Desk
For questions regarding our privacy architecture or to request instant erasure of an order log, contact our privacy desk at privacy@essayjungle.com.
